Slingshot Careers

We love what we do.
Actually we’re infatuated with it.

Our mission/vision is to educate and mentor young professionals in the world of business.

To help us do just that, we rely on a core team of seasoned leaders:

Ann Clifford graduated from Indiana University with a BS in accounting. She worked for Price Waterhouse and the American College of Sports Medicine before beginning the first of several entrepreneurial ventures in 1987. Active in the local business community, she is a member of Indiana CPA Society, TechPoint, Venture Club of Indiana, National Association of Women Business Owners, CEO Focus, Society for Human Resource Management and HRACI.

Today, as the founder of Safari Solutions, she and her team provide on-demand recruiting services tailored toward the hiring needs of small businesses. Safari Solutions, a nine year old HR consulting firm, provides recruitment process outsourcing services. Over 200 business owners have benefited from the expertise of a Safari Solutions recruiting specialist for their hiring initiatives.

Deborah Farrar earned her degree from IUPUI in the legal field specializing in real estate. She also went on to receive her Indiana Real Estate Broker’s License. After working for many years in new construction and development as an onsite Sales Director/Manager for builders and developers, she pursued the resale market of real estate. Ready to make her way as an entrepreneur, Deborah went on to start her own business, Architectural Stone Company of Indiana, which provides cast stone products to builders and developers before starting her partnership with Slingshot.

Deborah is active in the local community working with the Alzheimer’s Association and is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Network of Women in Business in which she chairs the Leadership Special Interest Group, ISSA, and Indiana Children’s Bureau.

Paul Lushin, a graduate of Concordia University, knows all too well what young salespeople need to thrive. While still in high school, Lushin’s first business endeavor was the development of his own photography studio. At age 18 Lushin founded Spectrums of Suede, a wholesale cleaning business for suede, leathers, and furs. This business continues to operate successfully in Kokomo, Indiana.

Lushin joined the Houston Police Department in 1981 and following a seven year career in law enforcement, Lushin reentered the selling profession as a Territory Manager with ECOLAB. Today Lushin is the owner of Lushin and Associates, Inc. in Indianapolis. Lushin’s professional sales and management philosophy emphasizes the importance of not only making a living, but also making a difference.
